A lot of business owners and digital marketing firms and consultants are waking up this morning to an awkward start.

Google appears to have a worldwide issue with Google My Business listings completely disappearing from accounts.

In some cases, Google My Business isn’t even showing location information and gives users an opportunity to “Find and Manage Your Business” which is the starting point for getting set up with Google My Business. This is currently happening on several of my accounts including a major one with over a dozen active listings associated with it:

Other cases of missing Google My Business listings we’ve been seeing from other businesses bellyaching over this recent event show them the actual interface of Google My Business, but their profiles show “0 Listings” and “0% Verified”.

As a digital marketer or business owner, this can freak you the hell out because it comes across as you’re listings are gone! But don’t freak out just yet.

According to Google, they’re aware of the Google My Business issue and are feverishly working to fix it, but with no definitive timeframe for listings and associated information to be available.

Stay cool, my friends. Your Google My Business listings are only temporarily missing from logging in, but the listings themselves and associated data are still there and will reappear in due time. Just be patient as Google gets this fixed.
