New to Facebook and Instagram, this client came to Lead to Conversion (LTC) May of 2020 seeking best practices organic social media marketing and advertising for their brand which had low visibility and brand recognition at the time.

Their #1 goal was to be found by individuals seeking automatic standby generators within a 60 mile radius of their location.

We kicked off this campaign by first auditing and optimizing the client’s Facebook and Instagram profiles with accurate business details, rich imagery, and a content marketing strategy custom tailored to their brand and target audience in social.

Once the profiles were updated and content strategy developed, LTC quickly transitioned our focus over to advertising setup for Facebook and Instagram. 

Facebook and Instagram advertising consisted of setting up and launching ads in several different ways:

  • Custom audiences via Facebook retargeting (people who visited certain pages on the client’s website, people who visited certain pages, but not other pages) and targeted specific advertisements to them
  • Established and optimized highly targeted campaigns that were product specific
  • Boosted posts to promote organic content to a broader, localized audience

Performance Metrics – May 2020 – May 2021

Facebook & Instagram statistics showed:

  • 369 website leads (lead form submissions and inbound phone inquiries)
  • Cost per lead of $8.10 (average cost per lead in this industry typically runs $50-$150/lead depending on the marketing channel)
  • 18 Generac generators sold, installed and on annual maintenance contracts (based on 25% qualified leads at a 20% average close rate)
